March 15, 2024 - Texas Highways Magazine published a story called "Where to Stay among the Wildflowers" and included our Cool River cabin as one of the destinations!

The Hill Country Alliance Night Sky Program helps counties and cities minimize the impacts of light pollution through education and outreach, business and neighborhood recognition programs, the establishment of outdoor lighting policies, and the celebration of starry night skies across the Hill Country region. Here our founder Bill Neiman, who sits on the board for HCA, speaks about what is at stake and where we go from here.

October 17, 2023 - Dusty Rhoads and our Horned Lizard Habitat Mix featured on CBS Texas's Climate Connection.

July 25, 2023 - Night Skies, Our Forgotten Natural Infrastructure: An Editorial from Bill Neiman for Hill Country Alliance

"Our ability to gaze into infinity with the naked eye serves as a needed reminder of just how small we really are in the bigger scheme of things. Seeing into infinity also helps us reflect upon our actual size, and what big messes we can create. It would be all too easy for this universal view of creation to disappear, bit by little bit. As Texans, we are obliged to take responsibility to care for and preserve this often forgotten, but important piece of natural infrastructure."

Dec 14, 2022 - Sean Johnston with the the San Antonio Business Journal did a great feature on our founding family, the Neimans, and their ongoing commitment to teaching people about native plants and habitat restoration.
