As the afternoon warmth comes on, a gentle breeze picks up a little speed. It carries
cooler air and sounds of the waterfall ‘bout a mile downstream on its breath.
Those healing sounds of rushing water, freshly ion-charged air molecules with the clean
smell of the surrounding environment are bringing me to believe … we will be just fine.
Right up the road ahead, any day now, comes a great growing resistance to the overload
of chaos and noise. The near complete breakdown of our collective nervous system that
the people have chosen/or been made/ to create . . . has about come to the limits.
Our great, caring, and capable people are ready to rise up from their current positions and
pivot. Starting with right where we are and what we can do now just out the front door . . .
will surely begin to bring us all to the healing. We are embarking on the journey of responsible
beauty. It’s high time we simply rewild our tired, old, insufficient American lawns.
Why not, for heavens’ sake, when we can all create vibrant outdoor living spaces.
Build it, and they . . . so many beautiful forms of life . . .
will come. They all just want to come back home.
There’s a pair of Black-crested Titmice chip-chirping away in Grandma’s
arms above me. They have come with a tender message: “No artificial
intelligence needed here . . . please become native to your place.”
