White tridens is a vigorous native grass that has value for erosion control, riparian restoration, and grazing. This warm season perennial grass is adapted to low prairies, ditches, swales, and open woods on clay and loam soils that periodically flood. It attracts a variety of seed eating birds, provides nesting material and is a larval host for branded skippers and most of the satyrs. Great candidate for rain gardens!
