Llano Uplift
Ancient 3-billion-year-old geologic granite dome, among the oldest rock in Texas, 90 miles in diameter. Soils are well-drained, coarse textured sands, produced from weathered granite over thousands of years. Rainfall: 24” to 32” with breathtaking spring wildflowers in wet years.
