Pollinator perennial!! This is one of the most surprising and interesting wildflowers of the prairie. Sometimes called Compass Plant, its leaves always align in a north-south direction, exposing their large, flat surfaces to as much sun as possible. The large, white, daisy-like blooms grow up and down the sturdy stem. White Rosinweed enjoys the calcareous soils of the prairie, and can often be found growing in what looks like solid rock. It accomplishes this with a large, deep taproot, which finds the water it needs in the subsoil. North-Central Texas endemic. Blooms in the hottest time of year when few other resources are available. Help preserve, protect and propagate unique native species, 10 seeds/pkt. Limited quantity.
