Rolling Plains Foothills

Gently rolling rangeland with streams and rivers. Soils vary from fine sand to clays and clay loams. In Texas, approximately one-third of this ecological region is used for intensive agriculture such as wheat, cotton and milo. The remaining has been devoted to cattle ranching.
