Four-wing Saltbush is almost exclusively used for erosion control. Its roots can reach depths of 20 ft. It ranges in height from 1 to 8 ft and can be compact and shrubby to tree like with open branches depending on your environmental conditions. The flowers are somewhat nondescript but the fruits are note worthy. The fruits will be found only on the female plants and will be 4-winged and a gold tan color.
